You’ll Make It (And They Will Too) by Amy Betters-Midtvedt
Every time my friend Amy writes about her youngest son, I wonder if she’s writing about mine! They are definitely similar. Amy is a teacher with 5 kids and a trusted voice in how to love kids well in a season that can be a tad challenging.
Hopefully the teacher in her can forgive me for the way I capitalized her subtitle :D
I found a few of my favorite bits from the book and turned them into coloring pages. I hope you love them.
There simply isn’t a rule that works the same for every single kid. We need to look at each kid and each situation and move forward from there. - Amy Betters-Midtvedt
If you want to be included in the growth you have to let them grow without insisting it looks perfect every step of the way. - Amy Betters-Midtvedt
I will not tell them to suck it up. I will not let them hide from the pain. I will not let them for one moment think they are abnormal weirdos for the pains of their minds and hearts and souls. They are gloriously human and they are feeling all their feels, just as they should. They can be both broken and whole. Because the only way to be whole is to accept your brokenness. - Amy Betters-Midtvedt
